Lawyerly Lairs: Hipsters in the Catskills

We're trying to diversify the coverage here at Lawyerly Lairs. After all, the world does not consist entirely of Park Avenue apartments owned by mega-rich law firm partners. Toward that end, we recently wrote about the housing search of some NYU Law students. Let's leave Manhattan behind and head to upstate New York, where we'll visit the beautiful Catskills house of a law professor and his filmmaker wife....

Here’s the kitchen, which boasts “a custom-made island with breakfast bar and storage, crafted by a local artisan; a Frigidaire dishwasher; vintage 4 ring gas stove with oven and broiler; fridge and two-bay porcelain sink. Cabinetry is new.”

Personally the kitchen is a little too vintage for my tastes. But then again, I don’t cook, so kitchens don’t matter much to me. Does Seamless have coverage in the Catskills?

Here’s a third view of the kitchen. I am familiar with F**k tha Police but not with F**k tha Eggs. What do Brian and Penny have against eggs? Are they… vegan? Vegan hipsters?

Get this: the house has both a parlor and a living room….
