Another day, another Cravath match.
Willkie Farr & Gallagher announced its 2015 bonus scale last night, and it’s the same as every other Biglaw firm that has already showered associates with bonus news. “Unsurprising,” said a source.
Although the firm isn’t doing anything special for high-performing associates — like Skadden, Ropes & Gray, and Fried Frank — it is doing something special for its U.S. associates outside of New York. Willkie Farr’s associates in Washington, D.C., and Houston, Texas, will also be receiving New York-level bonuses, which is very nice. It’s also worth noting that all of the firm’s more-senior associates (read: classes of 2008 and beyond) will receive the top bonus amount available, without any other discretionary funds added on top. Here’s the memo:
Schenck Price Competes Smarter With Lexis+ With Protégé
LexisNexis sat down with John Ursin, Managing Partner at Schenck Price, to learn how the firm is using legal AI to strengthen client service and daily legal work.
Willkie Farr associates will have a wonderful payday next Friday to put them in the holiday spirit. We know some of you were probably hoping for more, but make sure you enjoy that wad of cash — others in the legal profession must be very, very jealous.
Once again, if your firm has announced its 2015 bonuses, please email us or text us (646-820-8477). We look forward to keeping you informed this bonus season.
