Hint: Today is Super Tuesday and there are a bunch of delegates on the line, but it hasn’t always been that way. Super Tuesday wasn’t a “thing” until 1988, and since the Constitution doesn’t specify a process for selecting candidates for the presidency, the laws and rules that govern the process are frequently in flux. When something crazy happens in the electoral process, there will likely be changes in the rules to compensate for that.
