Kim Kardashian West Lands Internship At Major Entertainment Law Firm

Does this mean that she'll be heading to law school sometime soon?

The media seems to think that descendants of Robert Kardashian Sr. really want to follow in their late father’s footsteps. First came a rumor that Rob Kardashian was going to law school. That rumor turned out to be false. Then came a rumor that Kourtney Kardashian was interested in going to law school online. That rumor has yet to be denied. Now, comes a rumor that’s been started by the queen of reality television programming herself, Kim Kardashian West.

Will the social media mogul be headed to law school sometime soon (despite the fact that she doesn’t have a bachelor’s degree)? For what it’s worth, at least one law school used to accept students without bachelor’s degrees.

Earlier this week, Kardashian West posted a video to her Snapchat feed where her lawyer, Michael Kump of Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump & Aldisert, shared his support for his client’s future in the legal profession. If you recall, about a year ago, KKW reportedly said that “[i]f things slow down and I had time, I really want to go to law school.” Here are the details, courtesy of People:

“Kim, I’ve been doing this for 35 years and I said you missed your calling,” he said. “You really should be a lawyer. That’s what you need to be.”

So what makes Kump so convinced? According to him, Kardashian West has quite the skill-set. (Not to mention her dad, the late Robert Kardashian Sr., was a famous lawyer himself.)

“You’ve got the perfect instincts, you’ve got great judgment, and you know how to present your position in the most articulate manner and convince people of your point of view,” he told her. “Will you please join my law firm?”

In response, Kardashian West said, “I’ll just be an intern. When things slow down, all I want to do is be an intern on like, a really exciting Howard Weitzman/Shawn Holley case.” Kump hired her on the spot, “immediately.”

Does this mean that Kim Kardashian West will be heading to law school sometime soon? If she plans to keep up with kontracts as a 1L, we’ll let you know.
