The Most Embarrassing Typo In A Lawyer Letter, Ever

Dear Lord, this is horrific.

Throughout the years, we’ve covered typos that have appeared in all manner of attorney correspondence, but absolutely none of them can compare with the one that we’re about to show you. This one comes to us courtesy of Letters of Note, which categorizes the typo in this engagement letter as “[t]he most unfortunate typo ever committed to paper.” Check out the fourth sentence of the second paragraph:

Dear Lord, that is a truly horrific typo. We always thought that it was partners doing that to associates, not the other way around.

Have you ever seen a more embarrassing typo in a lawyer letter? Please email it to us or text us 646-820-8477, but we have a feeling it won’t come close to this one.
