Step aside, Tiffany Trump, because today we’ll be discussing another first-year law school with ties to the Trump administration who attends a much, much more prestigious law school.
Meet Audrey Pence, a 1L at Yale Law School. You may recognize her last name, because she’s the daughter of Vice President Mike Pence. How on earth was she able to fly under the radar for so long? Considering the fact that we covered Tiffany Trump’s various law school visits before she chose Georgetown as her home for the next three years, we have no idea how we missed Pence’s enrollment at the best law school in the country. Perhaps our tipsters from Yale are just a bit too polite to rat out their classmates.

As noted by Karen Sloan at Law.com, it wasn’t until last week when Vice President Pence even hinted at the fact that his daughter was attending law school. During a speech at the Independent Women’s Forum, Pence said, “[M]y daughter, Audrey, is up at a law school in Connecticut and doing real well in her first year. I couldn’t be more proud.” That narrowed the choices down to UConn, Quinnipiac, and Yale, but who would’ve suspected that Pence’s daughter had landed at Yale?
Pence, a 2017 graduate of Northeastern University who majored in international affairs, has described herself as “politically independent” and “socially liberal” — unlike her father. At Yale, Pence is a member of the law school’s Title IX Working Group, which “advises on policies and efforts to address campus climate” regarding sexual harassment or sexual assault and creates educational programming related to Title IX issues. Congratulations to Audrey Pence on her enrollment at Yale Law. We hope she enjoyed her adventures at the elite law school in anonymity while she had the chance.
