Litigation Powerhouse Offers Special Bonuses For Associates

Everything's bigger in Texas, including the bonuses.

Yeehaw! A Texas-based firm that specializes in complex trial practice just gave associates another reason to be excited about litigating with the firm. McKool Smith has matched the generous special bonus payouts that were first announced by Davis Polk.

These are what those special bonuses look like at the firm for associates who are eligible to lasso this additional cash (full memo available on the next page):

Associates must meet a minimum 0f 1950 billable hours for 2021, annualized as of June 1 and November 1. Anyone who misses the billable mark on either date but catches up by year-end will be made whole in their year-end bonus (which will not be impacted by these special bonuses). Congratulations on this “kool” news!

Remember everyone, we depend on your tips to stay on top of important bonus updates, so when your firm matches, please text us (646-820-8477) or email us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Matches”). Please include the memo if available. You can take a photo of the memo and send it via text or email if you don’t want to forward the original PDF or Word file.
