Cinematographer Shot By Alec Baldwin Was Wife Of Latham & Watkins Associate
We hope the legal profession will support this lawyer during his time of need.
Late last week, Alec Baldwin fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, with a prop gun on the movie set of the film “Rust.” Baldwin had been told that the gun was “cold,” indicating that it didn’t have live rounds. Halyna leaves behind her husband, Matt Hutchins, a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins, as well as their nine-year-old son.
As noted by Reuters, Hutchins joined Latham as an associate earlier this year. According to his LinkedIn profile, the Harvard Law grad is an alumnus of Skadden and Kirkland & Ellis, who also worked in-house at an entertainment company.
