Biglaw Firm Goes Over The Top On Bonuses For High Billers

Happy news for big billers at this firm.

money-investment-600×482Some Biglaw firms are really hitting it out of the park this week when it comes to their bonus packages, and one of them is Sheppard Mullin.

Earlier today, the top-ranked Biglaw firm — which brought in $1,005,057,000 gross revenue in 2021 — announced its year-end bonuses, handsomely rewarding associates who went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to their billable hours.

Here’s the bonus scale looks like at Sheppard Mullin:

C2      57,500      86,250     115,000       126,500       138,000

As you can see, Sheppard Mullin awards base year-end bonuses at the 2000-hour mark, and those who go over on their billing will receive even more bonus bucks. Specifically, associates who record 2200 and 2400 hours will receive 110% and 120% of the market-based bonus. Associates will receive their bonus payouts in January.

Congratulations on your bonuses, associates!
