Say Hello To 'Law Daddy': Gwyneth Paltrow's Lawyer Becomes Viral Trial Hunk

Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski accident trial may now be over, with the Goop goddess securing a favorable verdict, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from drooling over her lawyer.

James T. Egan, 37, not only helped Paltrow win her case, but he also won many hearts while the trial was still ongoing. Egan, a 2014 graduate of BYU Law, even earned some love from Katie Couric. The New York Post has the details:

On Instagram, hundreds of users swooned over the Salt Lake City-based attorney, including newsie Katie Couric, who appeared particularly hot and bothered by the Clark Kent look-a-like.

“He’s cute,” Couric cooed beneath a screenshot of a bespectacled Egan, which was uploaded by commentator Evan Ross Katz.

Couric’s company, Katie Couric Media, went even further, adding a raunchy remark that read: “Good GOD.”

It’s unclear whether Couric composed that steamy sentiment herself or was posted by one of her equally enamored employees.

Egan has since been referred to as a “law daddy” (not to be confused with “law zaddy,” otherwise known as Britney Spears’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart), as well as a “smoke show.” One Instagram commenter even went so far as to wonder, “Can he be held against me in a court of law?”
