Boutique Law Firms

Some Firms Have To Be Dragged Into A Salary Match. Not This One.

The litigation boutique that has matched market compensation every year since its 2021 founding does it again, this time matching the new Milbank scale.

At this point, Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes matching a Biglaw salary scale is tradition.

The New York litigation boutique, founded in 2021 by a tight-knit group of trial lawyers focused on complex commercial disputes, bankruptcy and restructuring, and white-collar matters, announced that it is matching the new Milbank salary scale, with raises of $10,000 to $20,000 depending on class year, effective July 1, 2026. The new scale runs from $235,000 for first-years up to $455,000 for the class of 2018 and above.

Here’s the full scale:

Class YearNew Scale
2025$235,000
2024$245,000
2023$270,000
2022$320,000
2021$385,000
2020$410,000
2019$440,000
2018+$455,000

For those keeping score, Glenn Agre has now matched Biglaw market compensation, in terms of both base numbers and bonuses, every single year of its existence. When the firm launched in 2021, it matched market rates immediately, it matched in 2023, and in 2024, and in 2025. So, of course, the firm has something to say about the 2026 raises.

Congratulations to everyone at Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes. Five years in, and you haven’t missed once.

Remember everyone, we depend on your tips to stay on top of compensation updates. When your firm matches, please text us (646-820-8477) or email us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Matches”). Memo preferred, photo works just fine.
