Mid-Level ECVC Associate
Description
A top-tier law firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate with emerging companies/venture capital (ECVC) experience for its Austin office. The role sits within a smaller, tight-knit corporate group advising founders, boards, and investors across the venture lifecycle, from formation and early financings through growth-stage rounds. We are interested in speaking with associates who have between three (3) to seven (7) years of genuine ECVC experience working for a large firm. Candidates with earlier-stage VC experience will be considered where there's clear room to grow. A JD from a highly-ranked law school is required. The firm will relocate a strong candidate to Austin. This firm offers a flexible in-office schedule, an achievable hours requirement with broad credit toward bonus eligibility, a recently refreshed office, and a practice structure that offers direct contact with key partners within the practice group. Compensation is in line with the New York biglaw associate scale. For confidential consideration, reach out to [email protected].
