Has Your Firm Announced Bonuses? Because These $1M+ PPP Firms Haven’t

If this list fails to mark off someone who has already issued bonuses, please let us know.

In our effort to keep you and the market writ large aware of associate compensation, we’ve been passing along every tip we learn about Biglaw’s annual associate bonuses. Still, there are some firms that just haven’t given their associates the good news on bonuses yet… almost a month after Biglaw bonus season kicked off.

Or maybe we’ve just had some tipsters who haven’t reached out yet. If you see a firm on this list that has made a bonus announcement, let us know and we’ll get this list amended. There are some firms with notorious black boxes that we can always use more information on — they may have informed associates of bonuses and no one’s talking lest they be outed. If you’re in this boat, at least drop us a line to tell us bonuses have been announced, even if you can’t go into specifics.

Plus, the last time we put this list up, there were three firms that had announced earlier in the week that had never informed Above the Law. It’s possible there are a few stragglers like that again.

But given the length of this list, we’re genuinely concerned that a lot of associates out there are still sweating to hear about bonuses. That’s not an idle fear this year either — given the summer bonuses that most firms handed out, there’s reason to be concerned that some firm is going to try and “match” the market by deducting the summer figure. Let’s keep them honest.

Without further ado, here are the firms with $1M+ in profits per partner that have not yet announced bonuses to us. If you receive any information about these firms then let us know! Don’t just assume someone else told us. Please email bonus news to us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Bonus”) or text us (646-820-8477). Please include the memo if available. You can take a photo of the memo and send it via text or email if you don’t want to forward the original PDF or Word file.
