Beating The Market On Raises Is A Surefire Way To Please Associates

That's a nice payday!

What could be better than a raise on the Davis Polk scale? A raise that’s even better than the Davis Polk scale!

Tensegrity Law Group, a notable IP litigation boutique, continually impresses with its compensation — we’re talking market-busting bonuses on an annual basis — and now the firm has come in over the top of the prevailing salary scale for associates. Here’s what the new salaries look like at the firm:

That’s $5,000 more than what’s being offered on the Davis Polk scale for every class year, including an eye-popping $380K payday for the firm’s most senior associates.

As noted in the memo from partner Azra Hadzimehmedovic, the firm will “continue our practice of providing for 100% of your healthcare premiums and contributing to your 401(k) accounts.” Sources say the 401(k) contribution is 3%, fully vested. Sounds like a wonderful place to work.

Congratulations to everyone at Tensegrity Law Group. Your firm may be smaller, but your compensation sure isn’t!
