As regular ATL readers are well aware, the 2021 Biglaw Bonus Blowout is well underway.
But for corporate counsel, reliable compensation benchmarks are much harder to find.
In the coming week, we’ll be launching our 2021 In-House Compensation Report, which draws on surveys of over 1,000 in-house attorneys over the course of the year.

One highlight of this year’s report is an overall upswing in corporate counsel pay: 89 percent of participating attorneys reported base salaries of at least $150,000, compared with 73 percent of respondents in 2017.
The participants represent companies of varying size and stature — from private companies with fewer than 100 employees to businesses featured in the Fortune 500 — and the report explores their base pay, annual raises, bonuses, and stock compensation.
Stay tuned for the full results.
