Just given the way we [GCs] are, it’s not our nature to be dissing in a public setting.

Michele Coleman Mayes, vice president, general counsel, and secretary of the New York Public Library, agreed, noting that GCs are “more discreet than that,” and “don’t sit around blabbing about law firms in a room full of people.”
