It's Special Bonus Time At This Major West Coast Biglaw Leader
Big-time bonus money goes nationwide!
Biglaw special bonuses are being handed out across the country, and other firms better start paying attention, because the latest firm to hand out oodles of money to associates is a major West Coast leader.
Wilson Sonsini associates and counsel received great news this morning (this afternoon, on the East Coast) when a memo related to their forthcoming big-time bonuses hit their inboxes. This is what the special bonuses look like at WSGR (full memo on the next page):
Early Adopters Of Legal AI Gaining Competitive Edge In Marketplace
Associates and of counsel who are on track to bill at least 1950 bonus-eligible hours in 2021 will receive payouts based on year-to-date hours billed as of May 31 and August 31, and make-up payments will be available. It’s also worth noting here that Wilson Sonsini is providing two weeks of well-being time off, 40 hours of which are billable and bonus eligible. More firms should get on board with billable vacations.
