For much of 2021, Yale Law School seemed to be locked in endless turmoil, but for a change of pace, the prestigious legal academy is starting the new year with some romance — or at least one of its students is.

Meet Daria Rose. She’s a third-year student at the elite law school, and you’ll be able to see her on The Bachelor, the first episode of which airs tonight at 8 p.m.

“Move over Elle Woods because Daria is coming for the throne!” proclaims her bio for the ABC reality dating show. Rose, who previously made headlines for her admission to seven Ivy League schools for college before choosing Harvard, wants to be an “advocate for women’s rights” and “idolizes Amal Clooney.”

She’s a studious woman, but don’t get the wrong idea because Daria also loves to be social and have fun. She’s looking for someone who won’t be intimidated by her accolades and loves when a man can make her laugh so hard that her stomach hurts.

Speaking of having a fantastic sense of humor, here she is, studying in the sun, just like Kim Kardashian (who recently passed the baby bar exam):

How long will she be able to remain on the show? How long will Yale Law allow her to take leave from school? We believe that filming started this past September, and she took a break from her very active Instagram account from early September to late November, returning with a note that read, “Howdy #imback.” (And she was just in time to attend the Yale Law Journal’s winter banquet, phew!) Only time will tell, so we’ll have to see what happened.

We here at Above the Law would like to wish the very best of luck to Daria Rose as she vies for love on The Bachelor. We hope she was able find ways to advance her romantic interests (and legal career) while on the show!

UPDATE: Daria was eliminated during the show’s very first rose ceremony.
